Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Consultation

Physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R), also called physiatry, is the branch of medicine emphasizing the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disorders – particularly related to the nerves, muscles, bones and brain – that may produce temporary or permanent impairment. Physiatrists, or rehabilitation physicians, are nerve, muscle, and bone experts who treat injuries or illnesses that affect how you move. Specifically, rehabilitation physicians:

• Diagnose and treat pain
• Restore maximum function lost through injury, illness or disabling conditions
• Treat the whole person, not just the problem area
• Lead a team of medical professionals
• Provide non-surgical treatments
• Explain your medical problems and treatment/prevention plan

Studio L is available for rent. Our studio is the perfect space for a variety of multimedia productions including:

• Audio Recording
• Podcast Recording
• Video Production
• Training

Since 1995, EMG London has been conducting EMG (Electromyography) testing for patients from across Southwestern Ontario. Electrodiagnostic evaluation assesses diseases of the nerves and muscles. Your doctor has recommended these studies to determine if your numbness, tingling, pain, weakness, and/or muscle cramping is a result of problems with your muscle and nerves. The results of the test will help your doctor decide what is wrong and plan the appropriate treatment.
